UP CM deploys 1000 buses for migrant labourers

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been set up around 1,000 buses to help migrant UP-Bihar from Delhi back to their villages, official sources said here on Saturday.

Thousands of migrants rushed towards the border of UP-Delhi National Capital as rumors bus arranged by Mr Adityanath to transport them back started doing the rounds last night. This led to a commotion and CM stepped in to help, official sources said here.

The daily wage of migrant workers face a time combing in Manila as a 21-day lockdown has given them unemployed leave them with no option but to return to their villages.

“Mr Adityanath up all night making arrangements for the bus by calling the drivers and conductors from their homes to assist migrants,” he said. This bus is set in Ghaziabad, Noida, Bulandshahr, Hapur and other adjoining districts with Delhi.

The migrants, along with their children, provided food and other necessities at the border along with their transportation to the villages each, the sources added.
